Take it easy

So, you have been a bit unwell the last week.

Mm-hmm.

Better now?

Uyah, think so ...

Going to celebrate?

Mmmh (slight nod).

How?

Go out to th' barn and do morning chores.

Ah! And then?

Visit the potting shed, pick out some things for the grow tunnel.

Let me guess. Straight from there to the grow tunnel.

Yup'm.
After that, a well-deserved rest?

No-o-o-o-o, a few fava beans and peas down the pipe first, in the garden beds.

Oh, okay. And then, I suppose, plow the south forty or something like that?

Nnh-nh. They said take it easy. So m'gonna take it easy.

Right. Well, enjoy your rest, then. Bye now.

Mm-m-m-mh.

If you would be happy all your life, plant a garden. -- Chinese proverb, quoted by Ruth Stout

  1. mm, it feels so good to get a few things done in the morning and then bask in that still-warming-up sun. what a beautiful setting you've got.

    *raises glass* to sun-healing.

  3. What a beautiful little photo-essay. So what if you have selectively shown the good bits...it looks like a great place to be.

    Take care of yourself.

  5. 'Spec we do. I'm hoping it's a collective dream which we all work toward making real.

B'tween now and then, perhaps I should do a photo essay on the "trash barn?" Hee hee. "Gonza" journalism.

    Thanks ever so.
